event: Mid-Autumn Flea Market @ Buangkok
venue: open field opposite Buangkok MRT

time: 6pm - 10pm
stall rental: $35 (one 3ft by 3ft table and 2 chairs will be provided)

Due to the last-minute release of this event, please book by Friday 9 September to ensure that we have a stall for you.

Event will be held outdoors. This is a rain or shine event. There will not be any tentage for the flea market and lighting will not be provided too. So please bring along your own battery-operated lights for the event.

Singapore Buddhist Welfare Services will be having a Mid-Autumn Carnival at Buangkok. 6000 participants are expected. Guest-of-honour will be MP for Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC, Mr Gan Thiam Poh. Programmes include the lion dance, entertainment performances, stage games, karaoke session, lantern procession and lucky draw. Fringe activities include eco lantern making and carnival games stalls. Flyers have been distributed to devotees, residents and schools.

Event will be held oudoors, under a tentage with fans.

YOUTHphoria is an annual mega event, spearheaded by Singapore Discovery Centre and co-organised by members of the student community and academic and/or non-academic bodies of the 5 polytechnics. Through YOUTHphoria, polytechnic students will be given the opportunity to come together, to grow, learn and test new ground and be provided with a platform to develop their entrepreneurial spirit and manage an event which is pitched at the national level.

A day jam packed with activities, participants (poly students) spend the day in celebration, having fun and taking part in fun competitions organized by the represented polytechnics. Games include the laser tag. The day starts off at 8.30am with the SDC challenge that will be flagged off by Major-General Chan Chun Sing.

YOUTHphoria is supported by Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts.

event: Playground Car Boot Sale & Flea Market!
venue: Playground @ Big Splash, East Coast Parkway
dates: 8 - 9 October 2011
time: 9.30am - 9.30pm
stall rental: $120 for 2 days (one 2m by 2m tentage + one 3ft by 2ft table + 2 chairs)

We welcome all 1st and 2nd hand products, except for f&b and counterfeit items.

Those driving, are able to park behind their stalls and sell from their vehicles too! In other words, more space to sell your wares! Parking fees are at $1.50 per hour. Do let us know if you are selling from the car, so that we can allocate you the right stall/area.

Refund Policy: Stall rental will be refunded should there be cancellation of the event. However, please note that there won't be any refunds should the vendor pulls out of the event no matter for what reasons.
